How Kristy’s Writing Career Began
Thoughts from Kristy…
While living a normal and uneventful life, an unexpected curve in the road really threw me for a loop! My husband, Skip, and I began a journey down a path in 2002 that we never imagined we would find ourselves on. In September of 2002, our 4-month-old daughter was diagnosed with cancer in her eyes.
Through that experience, as well as several others in our lives, Skip and I have learned so many life lessons, and we have gained a more intimate relationship with the Lord as we were able to experience His grace and faithfulness! The Lord has been so good to us over the mountaintops as well as in the valleys, and I wanted to share our story to help others who find themselves in the face of a storm.
I’m excited to be able to present my new book that is newly-released as of May 2012! It has been a lengthy labor of love, so having actual copies In hand comes as a long-awaited joy!
I actually wrote the book in 2009 after feeling led to do so. I had never aspired to be an author, but the Lord laid on my heart to write about our story and experiences. My hope in writing the book is that it can be a blessing and an encouragement to others as they experience storms in their lives. Juggling Rhinos is now available through online ordering.
I believe our story can be an encouragement to you, whether you are currently facing a storm or not. It may also be a blessing to others whom you know are facing a storm.
